Apr 18 (Reuters) — Chipmaker Intel Corporation aforementioned on Tuesday it has discontinued production of its bitcoin minelaying silicon chip series, simply a year subsequently its entry.

Intel expects to stop taking orders for the series, named Blockscale, by Oct 20 this year and close transport by Apr 20 future year, according to a text file on the company’s web site.
